The city that never sleeps
I feel like I'm back in Manila. The sun is scorching hot, the air is humid at times, and the traffic is incredible at night. But I love it! Outlets, performances, concerts, plays, designer shops---you'll never get bored in Vegas as long as you have money to burn. We drove here yesterday, and it took us about 4 hours to get here from LA. Of course, the first thing my niece wanted to do was to go swimming, so we did and i *think* i got a
little bit darker. Just a little. :)
On our way here we saw a bunch of outlets for GAP, Coach, Billabong and i forget what else, and i cannot wait to go shopping...! Although of course i don't have a lot of money to spend but still, i'm bound to find something nice. We'll stay here til sunday then we'll drive back home.
Home. I feel like i've uprooted myself again since arriving in Glendale. Honestly, I know what I want to do but i don't know what i should do... i want to go back to SF and just take the AMEX job, but at the same time it's hard to turn down help from relatives here... and believe me, everyone's been so helpful and my auntie is saying if i want to stay in LA, i can easily stay with her, and my other aunt is referring me to all these jobs and fixing interviews with these people so i can get in her company. oh well time will tell what i should do. whatever will be will be...!
......
on a lighter note, for those who've been reading my blog since i got here to the states, you'll remember that latino dude who was supposed to interview me for this job. well.... he called me up yesterday! after apologizing for such a delayed call, he invited me to come in for an interview, and i'm supposed to call him as soon as i get back to the bay area. hihihihihi... he's such a cutie and even though i don't like sales, i'll give it a shot. hahahahaha!!! :D but i really like the company okay, so it's not as if i'm going just to see him. haha defensive ba? ;p anyway, yesterday was just a kilig moment for me kasi ang gwapo nang voice niya eh.
wala lang. :)
